School Accountability

Medway School Department uses state assessment data to inform our practices at the school, classroom, and student level. Although state testing provides a great deal of information, it is important that families understand that they may opt their child out of this testing. If you prefer to do this, please submit a request in writing to Mrs. Dickinson.

The Maine Department of Education releases a report for each school district and school every year. These reports provide assessment data, as well as other student data for students in grades 3-8 and 11. You will also find information about teacher qualifications. Maine state law requires the community has access to those reports. By accessing the ESSA dashboard, you can review the report for Medway School Department and districts statewide.
